About G.O.S.H. Inc.

G.O.S.H., Inc. is a small 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is based out of Yonkers, NY. We were formerly affiliated with Yonkers Leadership Institute and branched off to form G.O.S.H., Inc. All of our Board of Directors and staff members are volunteers. As a small organization with big responsibilities, we incur all the costs of running our program effectively. We appreciate and welcome any donations. BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Tracee V. Jamison, CFO of G.O.S.H., Inc./President

Ms. Jamison is a Senior Media Buyer at Mediacom advertising agency. She has been in this business for 20 years placing commercials on radio, television, and cable in various markets in the United States. Tracee is a former varsity basketball player, as well as volleyball, track & field, tennis and softball. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn and The State University of New York @ New Paltz with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Tracee has been coaching the game of basketball for various organizations including a boys AAU team for 17 and under boys. That team qualified for Nationals and went to Orlando, Florida three consecutive years. The trip was fully funded by sponsors whom Tracee obtained. Tracee was nominated and selected as one of “Jackie’s Jewels” on the Steve Harvey Show(WBLS, NY)where she was interviewed by Jackie Reed and Steve Harvey about the work she has done in the Yonkers community.

She is an avid fan of the sport of basketball. Her favorite player is Michael Jordan and her favorite team is still The Bulls. Tracee is a soldier for Christ who believes that when we give to our youth, they will give in return. She enjoys music, watching movies, and watching all types of sports. She also enjoys just having good clean fun.

Angela Aponte, CEO of G.O.S.H., Inc./Vice President

Ms. Aponte, a former Speech Therapist, is a Special Education Teacher currently working in a NYC public High School for an Inclusion program. She has been teaching for 23 years. Angela loves her profession and cherishes the students whom she works with. Angela graduated from Norman Thomas High School in Manhattan. She later received a B.S. degree in Speech and Hearing Pathology from The State University of New York @ New Paltz and an M.S. degree in Special Education from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. Angela has been the Assistant coach on various teams. She has provided her services as statistician, driver, and counselor to the team. Her greatest accomplishment is recently becoming the mother to her son, Jonathan Thomas Aponte. Angela loves animals, reading, music, traveling, swimming, and watching and collecting movies. Angela is also a soldier in the army of God who believes that every child deserves a fighting chance and someone to believe in them.

Michele Pares, Director of Communications/Director of Academic Affairs

Ms. Pares has been a Human Resources professional for over 15 years.  She has a passion for coaching and mentoring people of all ages and has brought that same passion to the G.O.S.H. Inc. family.  Michele, with G.O.S.H. since 2013, has held prior board member positions in similar organizations and remains passionate about providing every child above and beyond opportunities for success.  Michele’s ability to have strategic vision for communications and partnering with others continues to enable her to fully support our children through advocacy, educational enrichment and empowerment.

Joy Montgomery, Director of Fundraising

Mrs. Montgomery joined G.O.S.H. Inc. in 2013 after discovering she had finally found a place for her son to not only play basketball but learn the sport while establishing lasting friendships.  Joy comes to G.O.S.H. with years of experience directing local after school programs and summer youth programs.  Joy’s “joy” in life is best demonstrated by her commitment to fundraising and is evidenced in the programs and events she has managed for raising funds and awareness for G.O.S.H. Inc. as well as for similar organizations.
